PCH Civil delivered the civils and inground services package for the NPI development at FMG’s Flying Fish Mine on behalf of Mallard Contracting, transforming a greenfield site into a fully serviced mine infrastructure precinct. 

The scope included:

• Site establishment, bulk earthworks and NPI pad construction

• Concrete construction including foundations, slabs, plinths, walls, bunds, ramps and footpaths (~4,000m³)

• Drainage construction including CSP pipework, headwalls, gullies, open drains and associated earthworks

• Inground services installation including electrical, communications, control, potable water, raw water, wastewater and fire water infrastructure including pressure testing and associated service connections

• Installation of power and communications pits

• Windrow construction including heavy and light vehicle safety windrows throughout the facility
