PCH Civil was engaged by the Saipem Clough Joint Venture to deliver the Site F Concrete Works package at Project Ceres, forming part of the non-process infrastructure supporting construction and long-term operation of the urea production facility. The works primarily comprised large-scale in-situ concrete construction, together with the installation of embedded service infrastructure including:

• Approx. 5,000m³ of in-situ concrete construction including slabs, footings, walls, columns, pits and plinths

• Installation of approximately 300 tonnes of reinforcing steel

• Formwork construction for ground-level and elevated concrete structures

• Installation of embedded services, conduits, sleeves and cast-in fixtures

• Construction of equipment bases, service pits, sumps and structural plinths

• Grouting, joint sealing and protective concrete finishes
