GO Hardstand, Leachate Pond & Road Network

PCH Civil delivered the construction of the GO Hardstand, Leachate Pond and Road Network at the Red Hill Waste Management Facility for the Eastern Metropolitan Regional Council.

• Site preparation including clearing, bulk earthworks and subgrade preparation

• GO Hardstandconstruction including excavation, ferricrete sub-base and base, primerseal and 40mm PMB asphalt surfacing over 18,000m²

• Leachate Pondconstruction including excavation, HDPE geomembrane liner installation, geotextile, anchor trenches and associated infrastructure

• Road Networkconstruction including internal access roads, subgrade preparation, sub-base, basecourse and tie-ins to existing network

• Installation of leachate and stormwater drainage including swales, culverts, HDPE pipework, headwalls and outlets

• Installation of perimeter fencing, access gates and safety infrastructure

• Survey control, QA testing and compliance documentation
