Tailings Storage Facility 4 - Cell 1 Embankment Raise

PCH Civil is delivering the Stage 1 embankment raise of Tailings Storage Facility 4 at Talison’s Greeenbuhes Lithium Mine, increasing the facility to 1275 mRL.

• Clearing, grubbing, and topsoil stripping.

• Foundation preparation and proof-rolling of embankments and access ramps.

• Construction of perimeter, divider, and decant causeway embankments.

• Placement of ~20,000 m³ of mine-waste, tailings sand and wearing-course material.

• BGM liner subgrade preparation, installation and tie-ins.

• Extension and raise of decant causeways.

• Relocation and extension of instrumentation (VWPs, inclinometers, survey markers).

• Survey control, QA testing and compliance documentation.
